Studer A37. Have anyone use this tape machine. what do you guys think?

Hi. I want to get some info about this old Studer A37, but i can't find it anywhere on the net. Any you guys use it before? Are they good?

A37? I think those are from the 50's or something? If that's the case, then it probably will be more worth as collectors equipment than for actual use. :)
 
Actually, the high value placed on old Studers is precisely because they are very good for actual use. Of course this will depend on how well it's been maintained, amount of head wear, condition of the electronics etc. I suggest you try to find someone in your area who works on analog recorders to take a look at it. You may have a real find - or you may have a technicians nightmare best relegated to the spare parts bin.
