hi... complete noob to tone modeling here.
man these sims sound great!
only problem is, i would like them to be recorded. the DAW (Reaper) is only picking up the unprocessed sound.
i am running Guit-->Motu 8pre-->Reaper. i hear the modeling effect as i'm tracking, but when i playback, the effect's just not there.
i am opening Amplitube via the menu icon.
on Amplitube, in Settings-->Audio MIDI Setup, i have selected MOTU Audio ASIO as my Input Device with my mono bass channel on the MOTU selected for both Left and Right.
the Output Device option is greyed out. i'm still allowed to select Right channel and Left channel under output, though I don't know if that has any effect.
like i said, i hear the modeling in the headphones as i track, but it's just not being recorded. seems like Reaper and Amplitube are not recognizing each-other
problem #2 i'm having is a split-second latency between my picked note and the modeled sound. is this totally unavoidable when working with software modeling or is there something i can do about it?
thanks again folks!
