Stand Up Comity
I thought I got an e-mail from Musician's Friend for Peterson PC software for a virtual stobe tuner for $50, but I can't find anything about it now.

Anybody know anything about it? Is it any good? Am I making it all up?

Yeah, that's it. I went to Peterson's site and looked under products, and didn't see that.

I think the basic one could be used for intonation, too.

If you do get one of those, post a review, if you don't mind.

yea, I'd like to hear what you think about it too, if you decide to get it. but I know, you reccommend Carvin's version.......... :D sorry, could'nt resist.

If the software is anywhere near as good as their hardware tuners, it's a GREAT deal! I have a VS-1 on my workbench that I use for all my intonation and set-ups, as well as a Strobostomp on both my gig and practice pedalboards. The GTR setting is a significant improvement about how in tune the guitar sounds. Be forewarned though...once you start using these systems, a Boss TU-2 or any other type of tuner will just not cut it anymore...really! :D
