Ive been toying with the idea of putting a charvel neck on my variax...and I know that a strat neck fits right on to a variax body...does anyone know if a charvel neck fits on a strat the same?

I think it depends on which era of Charvel you're talking about.
Charvel is currently owned by Fender, so the currently manufactured ones would probably have a good chance of fitting. But when Charvel was owned by Jackson, they used the Jackson spec of neck with the wide/flat profile similar to Ibanez and PRS. Back in their first days, Charvel was just a custom shop that would hot-rod Fenders, so of course at that time their necks would fit. They just used the existing neck and planed the fretboard to a flatter radius.
So if the Charvel neck has a script logo in the same style of Jackson's logo, chances are that it wouldn't fit. Otherwise, it might.

Pretty much. Any of the new new ones should be cool. But there was also a couple of different Charvel logos too under Jackson ownership so be mindful of that too.I think it depends on which era of Charvel you're talking about.

The model series Charvels were definitely 2 1/4" heels. I've had several.
But it doesn't sound like you went that way.
Concerning the neck you pictured, I'm curious as to how a 24 fret neck can be said to fit a Strat.
You can't just move the neck down, the neck has to be positioned to work with the scale length.
A 24 fret neck with a 25.5" scale has to have the pocket closer to the bridge than a standard Strat.
HUGE +1. Make sure you can get the guitar to intonate correctly before you make any rash decisions here. If the neck is designed with an "overhang" with frets 23 and 24 extending farther than the neck block, you might be able to make it work, although 1.) sustain tends to suffer for the frets without any mass from the neck behind them (common issue on older Ibanez guitars, which were designed like this) and 2.) you might run into issues with your neck pickup, if there is one on this guitar.
Its got 6 piezos pickups located on the bridge itself...Ill have to ask a local guy to look at it and see if this stuff will be much of a problem on this guitar...Intonation might be the only issue here.
