straight to soundcard...good enough for now?

Hello there.
I am running my gt-3 straight to the integrated soundcard on my computer to record in reaper and it seems to be working good enough.

I have been looking at a line 6 toneport and wonder if i really need it since i can plug to the soundcard?


what say you all?

What is a GT-3? And what are you running into the computer? Guitar/microphone/cat's tail/etc?
 
sorry, I realize i was not very detailed there, it is a guitar to the gt3. (boss effects processor) to the soundcard
 
Good enough for who? What computer soundcard? You've really asked an impossible to answer question. There's a saying around these parts; if it sounds good, it is good. So, if it's just you that needs to be satisfied, and if you are, then you're good to go. :)
