Storing Input Setting on a vs1680?

I have my 1680 set up to record my bands practices. We basically want to record 5 or 6 of our songs and burn copies so that everyone can take it home to work with.

Here is the problem: when I create a "new song" all the input settings that we just got in for the first song, are wiped out and we have to reset all the levels. This is just unacceptable and I imagine there has to be a way to store the input settings so that they will carry over to the next new song. Any help??

thanks in advance

EzyRouting works fast, but does it recall EQ and EFX settings? I can't remember.

Another method would be to store your current setup as a scene, Save the song, and then when creating a new song, load the song that has the "saved" scene. Then specify "Copy Mixer Scene/PRM." The new song will have the scenes specified from the previous song. Then clear all the scenes you don't need, and load the scene you do. Works great for me.
