Got life?

I doubt you could pick which recordings have ADA 8000s on them and which don't.

Just sayin'.

Sure, use one of their actually decent products as an example! ;)

the bcf2000 is nice... it cant crap on your sound.

That Cpt. Obvious comment was killer! :D

Uh, Lumbago, I don't agree. If that were true, all the best studios wouldn't need apogee's, benchmark's, and mytek's. I don't think those people pay good money for nothing more than behringer quality in a nicer box with a better brand name. That would be ridiculous. Having said that, the "entire signal chain" would have to be taken into consideration for your test to have any validity. And I dare say a completley pro chain vs. a completely behringer chain is a no brainer. Behringer loses.

the good news is that behringer products make very good paperweights and door jams! keep this in mind b4 throwing your behringer gear in the stinky garbage can.

This just in, Behringer does not use "ePhonics" in its manuals/literature. Therefore, Behinger > stinkfoot.

The real sad part is that this is probably the most intelligent post I've read in this forum in the last 6 months and possibly more.

Well obviously the Behringer ADA 8000 is built to a price. And it's way cheaper than the other units you mention. On that we agree.

Some top end studios actually have the Behringer unit tucked away to solve the problem it solves readily and capably. And though your ears may be good enough to pick which D/A is on a recording, I doubt many people could. So - if you listen to Kylie Minogue's "Put yourself in my place", which A/D unit do they use? I know. And I'm tipping you won't.

Wow, that's a snappy comeback . . . two years later! :p

Geez, maybe people *shouldn't* be using the search function...
