i dont know really. i use either vic extreme 5A wood or promark 747 nylons. wood has less ping sound to it on ride and stuff.

I like wood tips better, generally, beause they do sound mellower as scrubs said, except at first when they're still hard and fresh. I use ProMark Millenium II 777s pretty exclusively.

I use my own signature stick from Vatar, I have 3 different models that they make for me. they aren't for sale, just for me.

Sorry, but I'm trying to figure out just how big a deal this can possibly be, considering that you have your own signature stick with the company, but they spell the name 'Vater'.
