Sterling Audio ST59

Looking for (another) multi-pattern condenser for recording vocal and acoustic guitar (together, singer/songwriter stuff). The graphs look pretty good. Anyone have any experience with the ST-59? Opinion?

The sterlings that I have received haven't pleased me to awfully much.

You should check out the Avantone CK40 LQQK HERE

Not only is it an adjustable stereo multi-pattern microphone you can turn one off and have just a single.

A true Swiss army knife of microphones. Doubt you'll ever need another.

I found a used CK-40 for $299. and like I said you don't have to use it in stereo mode but is there if you choose to have it.
On the site that I linked for you there are other microphones that aren't stereo with multi-patterns.
Avantone is a great microphone company.

An other LDC that you may choose to check out is the Se Electronic microphone line. A fast google search will bring you to their site or to the numerous articles of praise.
