Stereofonique, a pop/dance tune

I'd like to hear/feel more low-end weight on the kick.

There are some opportunities to add interest with more pronounced rise-and-drop effect, e.g. around 2:25.

Sadly you are right. A boost is needed in bottom end. Also my problems include having difficult time adding interest. Thanks for the sharp analysis.
 
Not so much into the tune, but tastes aside, the mix sounds right. Maybe bring in the low end as Jmac said before.
 
Thanks for the comment. Next time I try to put here a tune with a better melody. Unfortunately my old tunes were quite badly eqd.
 
Same reaction as everyone else. Too much of the lead synth, not enough low end. I think part of the problem you might be having composition-wise is a direct result of that lead synth being so forward. It's hard to hear a place for background and textural elements when the lead synth is so dominant all the time. If you set it lower in the mix and broke the line up into phrases you might be able to get some counterpoints going.
