Hi

I am using the stereo reverb on the snare, and It sounds good in my room. Can anyone tell me if this is not a good practice. I haven't finished the product and haven't tested the results on other CD players, but wanted to know if there is a road block ahead by using the stereo reverb. Thanks.

Not sure if I fully understand your question. Do you mean is there any problems
with using a stereo reverb?

No . . . there are no roadblocks ahead. If it is working for you , then go ahead.

gracias

Thanks all for the good responses....gotta go and MIX!

I may not understand the OP...but it is best practice to track dry and add the effect later.

Do whatever works for you.

Myself... I would use a stereo reverb on a snare as an audible reverb / room sound, whereas I would use a short and dense mono reverb slotted in behind the dry snare as a way of fattening out the tone a bit.
