Stereo recording

As of now, I have a M Audio DMP3 preamp which has two channels. It has an output for each channel also. I was thinking about recording a few of my acoustic songs using XY or the Spaced Pair technique. How can i get both of the outputs into my current soundcard? I'm pretty sure it only has one input. I have access to a mixer, but not all the time. I plan on buying a new soundcard, what's a good one for recording?

If you only have a 2-channel (stereo) soundcard: Pan one mic hard left, the other hard right. Set your sequencer to record as 2 mono channels (or when you're done recording you can ususally split a stereo track into 2 mono tracks in most sequencers or audio editors.)
