stereo imaging?

What processor would just do stereo spreading? or phyco-acoustic processing?

I'm looking for a processor that just does stereo imaging?

Or How can i do stereo imaging manually?

Here is a plug-in by waves that uses psycho-acoustic spatial imaging techniques to enhance and alter stereo separation and imaging.

i don't use software i need something hardware that does this

I'm trying to make a mono signal into stereo

but im not using software i need something hardware or manually doing this with gear

What processors have stereo widening or spreading thats hardware?

a slight shifting movement
add stereo width to audio tracks.
spatial positions

What Chorus pedal/processor has a inphase and out of phase stereo outputs?

I'm looking for something that will give my mono signal a stereo spatial outputs and stereo width

The hardware you need is............... a camera. Just take a picture of your home stereo....presto, a stereo image! :D

These threads are getting old...well, they got old a long time ago. Now they're just...tedious. And annoying.

You'll want to contact the resident specialist regarding matters like this. He posts under the username Southside Glenn. I don't have time to get into how knowledgeable he is in all things audio, I will say that he is by far the most skilled of all users on this BBS.

Good to see ya around, walters.

I've never seen anyboy here by that name.

Wally, I'd suggest you Google the name Bob Carver. His sonic holography hardware technology is the kind of voodoo you're looking for.

Then again if you knew how to use Google you wouldn't need to ask us this question, would you?

Most guitar processor and keyboards have stereo outputs and they have Built in stereo imaging and widening

What do u think these guitar processors and keyboards stereo imaging and widening IS? lets break it down into steps manually

1.) What kind of keyboard stereo imaging do u think they use or do ?

2.) what kind of guitar processor stereo imaging do u think they use or do?

If you guys have keyboard software or hardware please listen to the stereo keyboards and try to break it down into how they get the stereo outputs to have stereo imaging and widening and with your guitar processors too please

Stereo imaging Rules and tricks
1.) some use delay ping ponging
2.) some use panning left to right
3.) some use ADT delay or pitch shifting
4.) some use Leslie 3D speaker spinning
5.) some use ????
6.) What else would cause stereo imaging or widening that i can use please?

I'm gonna go with the picture idea as well. I mean duh! Stereo image! Take a picture of your stereo... I'd also like to see your hardware browser... I bet it's a BEAST!

Nah, I think Wally is looking for stereo image as in making View-master Viewer stereo image discs. He's currently working on a remake of "Dumbo".

Thats weird that i can list 4 out of 6 and you guys can't even list ONE thing
and u call yourself engineers please

i bet Glenn can't even name ONE mastering engineer please

I can´t imagine rotating a speaker in three dimensions and still having the wires connected.. Anyway what kind of stage has people above the cabinets?

Ooooh, Waldo wants to make a wager.

OK, Brick Wally, I'll take your bet. If I win you have to agree to be IP-range and domain-range banned from Home Recording, Harmony Central and Gearslutz and to not even try coming back to any of the three again under any other identity or location. Deal?

BTW, ez, the Leslie idea is an old one. Send the mono signal into the Lez, mic opposite sides of the cab and hard-pan the inputs. It's just a mechanical version of ping-ponging.

How about:

Comb filtering and panning hard left and right with autopan.
Reamping the mono signal with a stereo pair and twirling the mic(s) around.
Having the listener drink large amounts of alcohol until he gets the "spins".
