Hey, guys
I found some fairly real sounding drum samples that I wanna try to use. They're in stereo, though. I know I can convert them to mono, but I was wondering if there's any advantages/disadvantages to using stereo drum samples. They sound OK to me, but does it make sense to use stereo samples, then make them part of a stereo mix? Like panning a stereo sample of a cymbal 40% to the left. Does anyone do this? Thanx.
