Ive been upgrading my home studio slowly for some time now and I have to come to make a decision.....
I mainly record vocals n Ive always recorded them on my PC.
Ive also done all of my mixing and editing with different plug ins in the PC......
A while ago I got hold of a 16 channeled Yamaha ProMix mixer wich I intend to use for mixing.
This has lead to thoughts of buying a new sound card ( only got SB live for the moment) with a couple of I/O`s, so I could use the mixer properly.
Ive also had a second thought of buying some sort of multitracker, and use this instead of the PC, maybe only using the PC for the final mixdown.
I`d bee very greatful for some wise opinions and suggestions about this.
