Starting/triggering a drum beat

I dont know how to word this question, so here it is.
I use acid for my recording program and beatcraft for drums. I also use a M-audio interface.
If i create a beat in beatcraft and want to play along with it while recording in Acid, is there a way to start the beat remotely or something?
