I'm a graphic designer. Knowing photoshop tricks
Is not what designing is about. It's about knowing
rules of page layout, font setting, imaging, etc.
You haven't even mentioned Illustrator, or Quark, which are
actually more important (which is evident from your work)
there are amatuer designers that know all the programs who
still can't make a decent professional layout, because they don't
understand design.
Just because you can shuffle a few itunes doesn't make you a dj
