Stacked?

If you were hoping for naughty photos, this is going to disappoint.

Any one here stack their tube heads on top of each other? I'm looking to conserve a little space. I've got 4 Tube heads now, a couple of them are hot-n-heavy. Since by design, tube amp run warm anyways, I was just wondering if there were any opinions on stacking amp heads on top of each other.

I'm thinking of only stacking two tall on top of my 2x12 and another 2 on top of my 4x12.

if you do that make sure you have the back open, to let out some heat so it doesnt get as hot through the top, but yeah it will be ok, tubes dont let of THAT much heat to the point where it damages the amp above it

Even if it would cause a problem, it wouldn't mean instant disaster. Just keep an eye on the situation and poke around back there after the heads have been on for a while to see how hot it is. If it gets too hot, you could probably get some of those little plastic box fans to help circulate the air a bit.

And thanks again...I can't imagine having both on at the same time...maybe in standby but certainly not both being played. They're all stacked up right now...we'll be having a practice later this afternoon. We'll see how it goes.
