I found this in my local area for $200 including everything. How is this interface?

Owned a Cport, and all I had was grief. Grounding issues being one. Poor quality
build.

Moved on to a Motu 2408mkII, which worked on a PC without a hitch. These units can be found on Ebay at a good price.

I now have a RME Fireface, but still use the Motu in a second machine. No prob with it in 3 years.

I don't have fond memories on the Cport.

By the way, i was talking about the 10 I/O one. poor quality? the converters or the pres were poor quality?

It is my first "bigger" AD/DA conv and i use it 3 years without problems for my homerec, but i have not compare with another marks or hi-ends.

When i have problem it was on computer side.

Well..ok...how is the quality? do you think this is a high-end interface?

Are you kidding?

Are you kidding?
I think hi-end interfaces has fireware, adat I/O, "cue mix", not so noisy...etc..
We talk about 200$ not about 2000$.

But C-port it is analog 8 I/O and i think 200$ is good deal - watch ebay.
I bought this 3 years before - 700$!

New cost 360$ such as ESI ESP1010.

The converters were O.K., though the mic pres were not of great quality. One of the XLR connectors came away from the unit.

You are getting a lot of inputs for your dollar. My main problem with the card was it's noise. Here's further reading on that issue;

Will this interface be better than the Firebox or Firewire 410 by the quality and features?
