2000 has unbalanced connections on the box: not good. Decent drivers, though the company was recently bought out by ESI. Which could be a good thing. Preamps aren't too highly regarded.
ESI recently put out some of their style EWDM drivers for this thing. Have no idea about the future of ST Audio brand since.
Sound on Sound magazine had a review on the 2000, as did Recording. The 3000 came out a bit too late...too close to the time of its acquisition for it to really make the rounds.
