I recoreded a folk circle on Friday night with my korg d4. I just placed an AT3035 in the center of the circle. I split the night into two 1.5 hour files.. They're each about 150 megs.
Using audition I imported the .mp2 file to a wav. Now I'd like to put it up on my website, but I want to split it into mp3s. 1 mp3 per song.. I also want it split so that if someone wants to download the whole thing and burn it to cd, it still sounds like one file. Theres an example of what I'm trying to do here:

Note: that example is 3 of my favorite songwriters, definatly worth a listen.
Has anyone done anything like this before? What would the easiest way to do it be in audition.. I'm hoping for something more automated than manually slicing each song..
Maybe I could put in track markers, burn it to a cd, and then import the cd?
Oh yeah.. One other thing, and another reason AA2.0 sucks, is importing one of the files just crashes my machine. Its too big.
