Split Track

Ok guys I'm very new to this... I"m so tired of hearing something I want to sing in church and can't b/c they don't have a split track.. How do I make my own... Can it even be done?

you mean you have a CD that you like a lot...and you want to sing it in church, but the vocal track on the CD is there in the way?

sorry to say, there's not really much you can do. There are "tricks" to lessen the vocal but in most cases will never get rid of it in it's entirety.
Since you're new to the audio world, I would suggest concentrating on the music world instead. And by that I mean take the CD and learn how to transcribe the instruments around the vocals. This way you can have actual musicians play your music for you and it will help develop your music skills dramatically. It can take a little while, but you'll get much better results this way than with "tricks" to get rid of the vocal track. You may also enlist the help of another musician who can help you transcribe.
 
You can buy those tracks. Most songs have the minus one (Karaoke) version where the vox parts are not recorded. Try http://www.karaoke.com, they have a large data base of songs
