Check out my blend of psychedelic rock/world music, recorded on my bedroom PC. Some tracks, where noted, were recorded with a digital 4-track. I appreciate your input.

Gratefully,

There looked to be two ways to listen: either a lo-fi preview or purchase the CD. The first option isn't a real good way to review a mix, and I don't really want to pursue the second option (no offense intended).

Is there a way to download a song? I'd be happy to tell you my thoughts.

Man I am stupid. I didn't even think to scroll down. Sorry.

I downloaded Voices...

Good clean recording. Interesting harmonies. Real heavy reverb on the vocals, but I think it works for this style. The guitar that comes in a little after 2 minutes is nice. Sort of Pink Floydish.

Were there some out of pitch vocals? Not sure if they were intended to be slightly discordant or not. Maybe a bobbled note at :14?

For my taste, I would have liked the song to move along a little faster. Not as in tempo, but in terms of structure. It seemed to kind of stay in one section the whole way through. A guitar section comes in, but not until after 2 minutes have passed.

My thoughts.

Thanks, triple M.
I can relate to your thoughts on that song, as that is how I felt when I recieved half of this collaboration. A friend of mine, Vine Sweetland, sent me that tambura part and I was confused as to how to make this repetitive drone work. After awhile I realized this is the way Indian music is...it is meditative.
Sometime today or tomorrow, look for "Chased Through the Woods" and "Invite the Drum Jam".
A more popular current song on there is "Field of Grass" - or "Sidewinder". I'm mainly posting from a recording point of view.
Thanks again.
