After listening, I feel pretty chill. My head bobbed a couple of times, all slow. You sing real nice too.

How are you making an ambient smokey room atmosphere?

I use Cubase 5 or Cubase 11 on this song
On the Vocals i turn the Gain down by -12 DB
then Add a Compressor & a Tube Compressor In Send so Gain Staging
I add some Chords to Guide me through & then change some to Pads
once i have the basics i mess around with different sounds beats etc
Spire has some nice Pads that seem to Morph ... add & take away different
sounds until a nice Atmosphere starts to build . Its very easy to add more & more
but in my experience sometimes less is more
I have a lot of better songs in this chill type some on this forum so would be
nice if you could listen & give your feedback

I like your vocals, little bit of Rikki Lee Jones in there. Backing tracks are suitable sympathetic. Nice job
