Spectral analyzers and mixing

Unless you're recording Bowzer from "Sha-na-na," most voices aren't low enough to interfere with the snare.

I highly doubt any of you know who the hell I'm talking about, but some of the 30 and over crowd will probably get a kick out of that statement.
 
Chessrock, Yeah, probably the funniest thing I heard all day! Smartass! Ok, I'm using Izotope Ozone as a spectrum analyzer, it's pretty cool because you can view it live or take a snapshot. Here's what the vocals look like: The first hump is at 318, maybe it's proximity cuz the guy doesn't sound or look like Bowzer then a peak at 600 another at 950 then a dip with a peak at 7k. What do you think? Am I relying too much on my eyes and not my ears?
