I was wondering if anyone could try and explain roughly how the drum tracks on the Paramore album will have been processed ... www.myspace.com/paramore for reference. Now I'm not a fan of the band but had them passed on to me by my bands drummer. We both agree that the drum sound is amazing and are wondering how to get something similar ... the drums sound so tight.
My guess is that they're heavily compressed and gated? but I'm not sure so was wondering if anyone had any ideas!
