Which brings up a question...Why would anybody (yourselves included) spend $1000 (or more) to get a microphone that was THAT good...when you're gonna wind up running the track through Autotune? WTF? Why don't you just stick a 57/58 in front of 'em and be done with it?

Maybe you wouldn't spend that much on a vocal mic?

Actually, to be accurate...

You're not using a $1000 mic. You're spending $1000 to upgrade your U-87, whose original cost would have to be added to the $1000 upgrade.
