Speakers and Headphones for MacBook Pro

Hi all. I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and Logic Express 9. I'm looking for advice o0n purchasing good speakers and headphones for recording and mixing. I understand it is best to have a flat sound for mixing but what are folks suggesting?
