I came from the philippines.. im a newbie when it comes to these recording stuffs.. i got a karaoke amplifier here, im planning to connect my microphone to the karaoke amplifier, and the karaoke amplifier to my sound card, is that possible? the problem is i only see three pair of holes at the back that says AUX, VCD, DVD, but all of 'em are inputs.. the only output are for the speakers.. but the female sockets of the SPEAKER OUT are different, its not like the other 3 pairs.. is it possible for me to use the speaker out to connect to my soundcard? is it advisable if i include a picture? reply please.. help me out with this one.. take care.. more power...

DO NOT do that!! The Speaker Outs are powered by an amplifier and you will fry your soundcard.

If you do not have a "Line-Out" or "AUX Out" port on it, no.

As ocnor suggested, if you use speaker outs, you will see a big puff of smoke. Not good.

Are there any other way i could connect my karaoke ampli to my soundcard? I got a component here it and has an audio output, could i connect my ampli to my component, then the component to my computer? or maybe just the component to my computer? maybe i'll just use the component rather than the karaoke amplifier.. what do u think?

The component outs to the soundcard ins is the way to go.

That should be at line level.
