SPDIF Coax cable?

Hello,

I just got a Kurzweil PC2R MIDI module, and it has coax SPDIF out, and so I can finally use my Delta's coax SPDIF in.

Question is, might I have a cable for this already? I know it's supposed to be 75 ohm RCA, but I don't know if any of my RCA cables ARE 75 ohm. Would it be okay to just try one? Would it damage anything by being less than that?

It won't "hurt" anything, but if your cables are regular interconnectors, you can bet that they're not 75 ohms at termination.

Grab a Hosa S/PDIF - They're cheap and they're just fine.

The cable with the yellow colored RCA plugs in camcorder/AV leads is 75ohm. Sometimes, to save costs, the red and black audio cables in these sets are 75ohm too, and they still manage to be cheaper than ones sold for s/pdif audio.
You can also convert video-tv coax cables by fitting them with ordinary male RCA plugs, though these don't use a nice flexible cable.
