Hi everyone..

Can someone tell me is there a chance to connect my Aardvark card with my Live Platinum?

Is it possible to run SPDIF out from my LIVE 44100Hz?

I heard somewhere that Live can only be "digitalized" on 44100?

Advice me..:)

Im not trying to be funny, but why would you want to do that?

.....

Gidge, I have plenty of soundfonts in my studio library and I want still to use them..

That's the main reason..

I have to run my Live for MIDI functions..That's it..

But I don't know how to connect it in my chain..

Can I use the SPDIF for 44100 transfer into Aardvark?

or I have to make it 48000? :(

The S/PDIF on the Live is locked to 48 kHz.

On my setup I have the two cards routed to a mixer, which then drives the monitors. So I have MIDI from the SB Live in two channels, and audio from my Delta in two more. When I want to render the MIDI parts down to audio tracks prior to mixdown, I use the Live's audio device to record them, then just play them back through the Delta when I'm done. So I don't have the need to run the Live's output into the Delta at all.

help..

Thanx for your answer
Alchuck..

So, what are my options? To run everything in 48.000? :(

I wanted to record and play everything in my aardvark..Don't want to record into SB Live..Just wanted to play the MiDI thru it..

But once you record the MIDI to audio via the SB Live, it's just audio, so you can play it out the other card, so what's the diff? Except that you maybe made your life a bit easier.

I see from the other thread you have a Spirit mixer, so you can route the SB Live's outouts to the mixer too independently as I suggested... then there's no remaining reason to tie up the Aardvark's two inputs with the SB Live output.
