Soundtracs or Tascam

I'm trying to choose between these two mixers
for a small home studio setup

Soundtracs SOLO MIDI 16
Tascam M-2516

both can be had for a good price second hand,
can you please tell me which one you would choose
and why,

I have no direct experience with either board. However, my Soundtracs Project 8 24x8 is killer. I'd guess any Soundtracs would have an edge in pres and eqs, plus they are generally full featured boards.
