I know this topic has been covered before on this site but i need more detail about insulating with rockwool and the best techniques. I have a cellar 15 by 9 foot im planning to build a wall of rockwool round (if this is the best thing to use) and then plasterboard or plywood over it. i need to know the best way to mount the rockwool and creat a structure to hold/cover it. And also need advice on the ceiling. If anyone has any links to web adresses with info about this on then i would be greatful if you can post them on here cheers.

2 walls of the cellar are out to nothing just into the land but 2 other walls are into other cellars. however on one of these walls there is another room before the outside wall which runs the length of the wall like a 4 foot wide room (coal hole). I dont think the walls into earth would need treating but i imagine that building some kind of false wall maybe 1 foot off one of the walls and treating the coal hole somehow could make this work. It has to be really really effective to allow us to jam into the early hours.
