Soundking Mics

hi im new here.
im considering purchasing a soundking drum mic set (kick, 2 overheads and two dynamics) . just wondering if anyone knows this brand and if so, what do you think of them?

I know that soundking is a factory. They make ALOT of stuff for ALOT of people.
They have been around for along time. I think they make the some CRATE stuff.

Mics are a good deal for someone on a budget.

I checked out the Soundking website and saw microphones that looked similar to models sold by Shure, Shure, Shure, Audio-Technica, Audio-Technica, AKG... :eek:

Like i said they make stuff for alot of people, but I only stated who I know for sure they make.

It's not real hard to see the similarities.
Looks like 2 of the Karma SDC Mics could've been manufactured there ;)
I wished I wouldve purchased 2 of those little mini Karma's before they started bundling them. :(

seriously man. it's a few parts in an xlr mic connector. if you do a search here you'll find lots of info from mshilarious and minion on simple diy mics.

We we do not use them as we build everything in our own factory.

As for the micros we started selling them as matched pairs. Figured that would make it more interesting.

And the bodies are not XLR connectors we actually open a mold. But if you were to make you awn you could do that.
