I don't get your question.....
You CAN edit MP3's IN Soundforge without any additional software.

Btw, yes... you don't need any additional programs to edit MP3 in Sound Forge. You'd probably wan't some extra DirectX Plug-ins effect, but SF itself provides alot off effect you may like to use.
