Help me out guys,
Soundfonts is the problem. When I try to access certain soundfonts (it seems to be over a certain size, the one I’m trying to access is 28mb) I keep getting the “not enough soundfont memory to load soundfonts”

Background details:
I have never had this problem before and could always access said soundfont, at the time I was using the SB Live Platinum but I have just upgraded to the Audigy Platinum.

As for memory, I have a ton of system memory (768mb) and have set the “static cache” to 222mb and still get the same error message.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you tried loading the soundfont and THEN going into Cakewalk?

I can't load any soundfonts inside Cakewalk, ever. But then, I have an AWE64Gold. That's what I do, though - just load the soundfont I'm going to use first.

Drum loops

If you have not already checked out this site, then do yourself a favour and try it.

Great loops that sound "real" and no techno.
By the way thanks for the responce about the soundfonts. Your idea works for some but not for all.
