Hi Guys!

I need abit of help with this one...

First I needed a mixer for just inputing stuff into one ST buss like my Sampler and Novation, decks, etc And saw the MG12/4 as the one becouse it can be racked with everything else and looks nice :) But, I then wondered about using a mixer for monitoring from my DAW aswell as recording. I saw the Compact 10 which is designed for DAW's and can sit on my desktop.

Can I trust whichever one I pick to not colour the sound going into the monitors?

Anyone got one of those?

Cheers,

Chris ;)

I use the Soundcraft myself. I've not noticed any coloration of sound from it at all. I picked it up for the purpose of live monitoring from my DAW as well. It's a nice little mixer, with a nice price.

Nice one, dude. It's a nice mixer, lots of ch's and only £98 at turnkey!

I know it doesn't have a power button - does it pop or thump when the power is switch on or off from the mains?

Cheers
