I have a Dell Inspiron 3500. It has a NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV Audio card. Based on fooling around with it, Fruity Loops and n-Tracks, it's clear to me that this isn't a full-duplex card (n-Tracks told me so!).
I have two PCMCIA sockets (one's occupied by a network card).
What options do I have for multitracking on this machine? And by multitracking, I don't me inputing from outside sources, I just mean using things like Fruity Loops and other fun tone generators.
I appreciate any help anyone can provide. And don't be fooled by my casual use of terms like "full-duplex" and "PCMCIA". I'm not a computer expert and I really know very little about digital recording.
Thanks,
Clark
