Hi Everyone.
My new B&W G3 should be arriving this week. Very exciting! I will be running everything from within Cubase, and have resolved to only install music sofware/hardware on this machine.
On my old 120/7200 (from where I now type), I never bought a soundcard. I dialed in my vocals, guitars, and bass via my cheap Fostex 16-track mixer. Not much by way of aux sends, but Cubase helped put on the fx once the sounds were in my hard drive.
I want to make album-quality recordings on my new G3, so I think it's time to invest in a good soundcard. I have heard nothing but good things about MOTU's 2408.
Any comments? Pro or con? How about other recommendations? Anything special or quirky about the B&W G3s that I should take into account when getting a soundcard?
THanks in advance!
Cheers,
jethani
