i have just purchased the delta 66 and i want info on how to set up my equipment which consist of

1. mpc2000xl
2. trinity rack & midi keyboard controller
3. alesis ra100 amp
4. alesis monitor ones
5. cusbase vst 5.1

option 1:

midi out from controller to tr-rack, midi out tr rack to midi interface and then connect that to one of the inputs on the breakout box. from my mpc2000xl i would connect into another input 2 on the breakout box. i would send everything into the computer into cubase and then come out of the computer into the output of the breakout box into alesis ra100 amp and then to the alesis monitor ones

option 2:

midi out from the controller to the tr-rack, midi out the tr-rack to the mpc2000 and then connect to output 1 of the breakout box. . i would send everything into the computer into cubase and then come out of the computer into the output of the breakout box into alesis ra100 amp and then to the alesis monitor ones.

any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

jusballin

midi outs go to midi ins.
audio outs go to audio ins.

Try that and come back with any specific problems.

Delta 66 users can you help me please!!!

can i get any suggestions??

How much detail do you need? Have you even tried hooking it up yet? I'm sorry for being a dick but just plug it in and see if it works. You dont have a lot of options here.

I'm sorry but these posts where people post all their equipment and say "what now" are a little irritating. Dont people read manuals anymore? Those of us who help newbies have been reading manuals for years and when somebody comes along and wont even take the first step to help themselves and wants someone to type a fuckin novel just to paraphrase the setup instructions that are already printed in the manuals it is a little rude. If you dont understand something that is a different issue.

Take the audio outs from any keyboards you want to record and plug them into the inputs on you 66.

Use the Midi out from the controller and go into the computer. Go midi out from the computer and into the controller. Use the midi thru on the controller and connect to your triton, thru from the triton to the next piece and so on.

Many here dont mind helping but you do have to exert a little diligence and educate yourself on at least the most basic principles.

ROFL damn that was a funny post! Jut what I needed today after a long day at school.

(By the way i agree with you Tex)

really didnt appreciate the smart azz commnet but thanks for the info anyway. if it was that much of problem then you shouldnt have taken the time to answer. just so you will know i have read all of the manuals and still had questions, i thougth this was what the forum was for!! i cant trip thought and say everyone thinks they know it all because everyone doesnt come off like that. i do appreciate all of those who have given good advice and suggestions and wasnt a smart ass doing it.

thanks

I in general agree with Texroadkill.
Before I make any home recording purchase I read as much as possible about it (manuals can often be downloaded) and I know exactly how I want to hook it up. And if there are more options, well, I just try them out. Blowing up stuff won't happen that fast.

A lot of homework can be done in advance. I would just like to say: Know what you're getting into before you plunge in.
