I use Soundblaster Live for all of my recording and included with Soundblaster live comes the keyboard function in Audio HQ and the bank setting for this virtual keyboard is: 8MBGSFX-MUREVB.
I would like to use this bank for Cakewalk but I can't seem to get it to work. Is this a simple fix? Any ideas? All comments and possible solutions welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mojka,

Open up your Audio Hq, choose soundfont, then
the options tab. Make sure your static caching
is set for at least 8mb....more if you have extra
soundfonts. Then choose config bank and load
the 8mb soundfont. Click close and the new bank
should be ready for use.

Remeber, you can set the soundfont cache to the highest level (which should be just under half of your system's ram).
This does not 'use up' the ram, it just tells your soundcard that it can load up to this much in soundfonts.
System performance will not be affected just because you have it set to the highest level.
Of course, if you have 128mb of ram and you have it set to 64mb and have 64mb of soundfonts loaded into your soundcard, this might affect your system performance.
