SO here is the problem

when i playback audio be it from wav, mp3 etc or a CD/DVD the sound skips.

i wonder if anyone else has this problem and could help me out with a solution.

the system i have is as follows

AMD Athlon XP2200
1gig of Ram(not sure on the speed)
2 x 80GB seagate barracuda HDD
SB audigy

and all the usual stuff CDR/DVDR/floppy disk drive etc

Any help would be most appreciated. I know it is a crappy soundcard but it should still playback MP£ and CD without a problem.

Thanks

did this just start happening out of nowhere? or did you just put the sound card in? if the latter, you may have a conflict with another piece of hardware.

it just started happening out of nowhere! i was just listening to sum MP3 and CD and noticed it. its really annoying the hell out of me!

you have'nt added any hardware or software recently?

no hardware only installed winamp. Do you think that this could be the problem?

it wirked finw when i used it B4

I don't know what could have happened by installing winamp. You said it was fine before so I would try uninstalling winamp and see what happens.
