Hello! Here's a question which might have a very easy answer, but I haven't been able to figure it out and could use a little help...

I've been using a pair of Roland MA-8 monitors. Since these monitors have two sets of inputs, I've had the monitor output of my Aardvark Q10 plugged into them to monitor Sonar, AS WELL AS the ouput of my SoundBlaster SB64 soundcard (that originally came with my PC) to play back audio CDs and MP3 files using WinAmp. This has worked without any problems for the most part.

I now have a pair of Mackie HR824 monitors on the way to replace the Roland MA-8, and wondered if

A) I can still somehow plug both soundcard outputs into my new monitors?

B) there's a way to have everything (Sonar, audio CD and WinAmp) go through the Aardvark/Q10 set-up, so I can then disable the SB soundcard?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just found the answer to question A in the Mackie manual:

You may not connect more than one source at the time to the monitor, as whatever jacks are left unused become "thru" jacks for daisy-chaining the signal to another monitor.

So that leaves option B. Anyone have any suggestions?
