soundcard configuration

I use Acid pro 5 for recording music. My soundcard is a maudio 2496. I have used this setup for several years and it has always worked well for me. Recently I have had to reload all of my software and hardware. Since then I have not been able to hear what I am playing(guitar) at the same time tracks in acid are playing. The anolog signals are getting there because they are recording. I just can't hear them. I am looking for someone who uses this same setup and is familiar with it because this problem has gone on way to long. Thanks for any help you can give. If you need more clarification on the problem just let me know.
