I just build my live sound room.
I spend a lot of money because i didn´t know a lot of things that I know right now.
1) dimensions of the room:
if you gonna spend your money in the AURALEX foam theres no problem, they tell you what you need for your room, but, if you gonna use another thing, you have to think in the dimmensions of the room.
I use egg cartoon and it didn´t work because it is a small room (2 x 2 mts)and the cartoon is very strong reflex of waves.
so, i have to use 1 cm sponge in all the walls. The room is complete dead. Works fine.
2) glass.
You have to use double glass; inside
(live sound)put an angle, outside (control room) 90ª (l\)
the angle of the inside glass, is the result of the pitagoras problem, A2 + B2 = C2. you have to measure the broad (A) and the
high (B) of the wooden frame to get the angle (C).
