I just started using Reaper and this is the first DAW I've ever used. I bought a Behringer XENYX Q1202USB interface and a condenser microphone. I have to use headphones because of other people in the house. Now, when I record something I can hear it through those AND through my speakers. And when I play it back it's exactly the same. And I don't really want that since I'll get sort of an endless echo then :| And when I play back my recordings, I can't hear anything at all. Help anyone? I just want to hear everything through my headphones..

So, when you record things, can you hear stuff you already recorded in addition to the stuff you are simultaneously recording? I don't use Reaper, but there are folks here who do, so hopefully they will come along and tell you how to adjust your settings. It sounds like you need to adjust the monitor settings--the echo you hear is latency. Be very specific in describing your issue, since your post is a bit confusing: describe your exact setup, the inputs and outputs, as well as the soundcard on the computer and the type of computer you have.

Umm, turn off the speakers when you are recording? There is a 'USB' knob on the mixer (or should be one) - this controls the amount of volume coming back to your headphones (or speakers) during playback, but also adjusts the level of the signal going to your computer during recording.

BTW, the Xenyx is not really an audio interface. It's an analog mixer that happens to have a cheap A-to-D converter for USB use.
