Sound from the computer to the mixer . . .

I want to connect the speaker output on my PC to an input on my mixer. Should I connect it to the Tape-In or to one of the channels?

It will work either way but what I don't know is if there is a difference in these types of lines.

go ahaead use the tape in. he speaker output is line level, and that's fine. of course you can use the channels too, if you care.

set to the right gain there shouldnt be any difference.

It's pretty much a matter of where you'd rather have the sound, either should work fine. If you need the channels for other things, just put it on the tape-in.
