Sound Culture - One minute composition

Hello guys. I'm actually studying a Master of Arts at the University of The Arts Bremen. I'm enrolled in an interesting course called "Sound Culture." As part of the program, students are required to present three assignments. The first one consist of a one minute composition. The only requirement is to use the samples given by the tutor. We can only cut, mix, blend, superpose the samples in order to create an interesting piece of music.

I came up with these two ideas. What do you think about it? Which one do you like the most? Anything to improve?
