Sound cards for AMD based systems

Not knowing that most PC recording needed the use of a pentium based system, I bought a Athlon 700. Now I'm having a hard time finding compatible sound cards. The setup that I want to use is a digital mixer then an out (via TDIF or ADAT, I haven't decided yet, probably ADAT)into the computer. What options are present for me? MOTU? Any reply would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt that you'll be able to get the ADAT card to run on the AMD. I also had no luck with Pulsar or the Yamaha DSP Factory. The only one I've had any luck with is Gina by Event. I finally bought a Mac and the Digi 001. The Gina runs flawlessly on the AMD but it seems that any card that had DSP on it was a problem.

The M Audio Delta cards are supposed to work fine with AMD chips. Check all the manufacturer's websites and see.
