Sound Card Suggestion for Vocal Recording

Hi guys,

First of all, my budget is upto maximum of $150 for a sound card
I am currently using Samson G Track USB condesor mic with built in audio interface

Also, I will be mainly record vocal/rap only on an "already made beat"
I heard something about Sound Blaster 5.1 or 7.1 is decent enough for my purpose.. but i have no idea which brand it is from..

Could you suggest me a decent sound card that meets my requirement?
and also.. will i be able to tell the quality of sound difference without changing my speaker? I will be mostly monitoring my recording through a headphone.. so yeah.. if I were to listen through a headphone (with new sound card) will i be able to tell the difference?

Soundblaster cards are great - for video games.

You need an audio interface which will function as your sound card and allow you to use a dynamic or condensor (needs phantom power) microphone.
